The Crystal Coast Welcomes Jon Johnson As Newest Golf Pro
Jon Johnson has been hired as the Director of at the newest course on the Crystal Coast - the North River Club. Johnson brings many years of local experience to the course and will be assisted in running the course by Carolinas Group.
"I'm pleased to join the team here in Beaufort and am looking forward to helping establish this course as one of the premiere courses in North Carolina. With five different tee placements and water on nearly every hole, golfers of every ability are going to love this course," said Johnson.
The course is expected to open Fall 2007, with over 7,200 yards. Located less than five miles from the historic Beaufort waterfront, the course is convenient to the area's many attractions, including North Carolina's Crystal Coast beaches.
'The course is completed and we are currently building the temporary clubhouse. Interest in the course and the adjacent course property has been phenomenal,' said Matt Tappero, a partner in the development. 'We are looking forward to people enjoying this course very soon.'
