This was the same team that eliminated the Wild in their first year, in the Western Conference finals in the year 2003. They were placed seventh in the Western Conference.

The Wild’s roster now stands at 23 players. Goaltender Barry Brust has been reassigned to the Houston Aeros of the American League.
