Days Of Our Lives Alum In American Hockey League Event
| Days of Our Lives Alum in American League Event | Drake Hogestyn recently concluded his work Days of Our Lives, thus his character, John Black was killed off for the moment. The actor who has played John Black for 21 years finally retired from the long-running soap, but fans need not worry as to remembering their favorite leading man.
Surely, Hogestyn has left Days of Our Lives, but John Black's legend lives on as a special meet and greet will be held next week in his name. Reflections Tannery, in cooperation with American Airlines, WEEK and News 25 will be presenting Days of Our Lives’ very own John Black (Drake Hogestyn) from Days of Our Lives on Saturday, November 17. Hogestyn will be appearing in the event with a group of
lucky ticket winners on that evening's American Hocket League (AHL) game.
What tickets, you might say? The official Rivermen website is placing 50 tickets up for grabs for 25 lucky winners, who will be able to be part of the excitement of the team's battle with the San Antonio Rampage next Saturday, November 17 at 7pm. These efforts are in support of the Peoria Rivermen in the AHL. The same group of winners will then get a chance to meet and greet Mr. John Black himself, Drake Hogestyn at 5:30pm. Of course, Hogestyn will also have a treat for the non-winners, as he will be signing autographs for the general public from 6:30-8:30pm.
Fans of the soap and of the games can log on to the official Rivermen website at www.rivermen.net and click on the FANS tab to check out the mechanics of the raffle. Tickets to the game are currently up for purchase at the Civic Center Box Office, all TicketMaster branches, and online at www.TicketMaster.com.
