He also tied a record with Charles Barkley for the U.S Airways Center record for most rebounds in a quarter when Marion made 11 rebounds in the second quarter. Barkley established this mark on the 2nd of November of 1996. Marion assures that he is better than Barkley and just needs the ball to fall in his hands more often.
Other players that contributed to the team’s victory include: Amare Stoudemire who added 25 points, Steve Nash scoring 16 points and 11 assists and Leandro Barbosa that scored 20 points.
