| One Tree Hill: Sneak Peek at Episode 5.15 | On the previous episode of CW’s teen TV drama One Tree Hill, every character went their own directions. Nathan made up his mind on returning to the court, Haley and Peyton were excited to be working on a new album together, Millicent agreed to move in with Millicent, Haley got a new nanny, Brooke was given her adoptive baby and Lucas and Skills started planning for yet another season.
The upcoming episode is entitled “Life Is Short.” ON CW’s official website, the description for episode 5.15 reads “Lindsey (guest star Michaela McManus) returns to Tree Hill for Jamie's (guest star Jackson Brundage) fifth birthday party, giving Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) hope for their relationship. Brooke (Sophia Bush) and Peyton (Hilarie Burton) prepare for life with a new baby. Meanwhile, Dan (Paul Johansson) tries to insinuate himself back into the
lives of his family, ultimately divulging a grave secret to Nathan (James Lafferty) and Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti).”
A trailer and a clip posted over you tube revealed more on what’s to happen next. Deb is seen flirting with a clown while the clown creates animals with his balloons. Someone suddenly knocks on the door, disrupting their flirting moment. Deb opens the door and finds Dan standing there. Dan says he just wants to greet his grandson a happy birthday. Deb answers that it would be much happier if he leaves. They start to argue but the clown intervenes and saves the day. In the end, Dan just leaves his gift for Jamie while the two walk away happily.
After a long time, Lucas and Lindsey finally see each other again. Lucas tells her “I think about you everyday” while she answers “wondering what our first words will be.”
“Life Is Short” is directed by Paul Johansson, the same person who plays Dan Scott on the series. Johansson’s other directing credits include The Incredible Mrs. Ritchie and Conversations in Limbo. Elisa Delson, on the other hand, served as the episode writer. Delson wrote for the Primetime Emmy-nominated program Everwood and also wrote the screenplay of Street Dreams.
